1. Peel and grate the papaya.
2. Apply salt and keep aside for a few mins.
3. Press lightly to remove the excess water from it.
4. Add some more salt to taste if required and lime juice.
5. Heat the oil and add mustard seeds, asofoetida and green chillies.
6. Add the seasoning in to the grated papaya and mix it well.
